Subject: Vox settings for OLIVIA and BPSK

Greetings all.

I realise all soundcards are not alike.

Does anyone have some settings for VOX (delay etc) to be used with BPSK and OLIVIA.

I find it a huge "hassle" to have to click on CQ100 to go to Xmit, then Click on either OLIVIA or MixW to start sending, then have to go through the reverse procedure to receive. (Having a drink during a QSO does not help)

I guess that a "Universal" PTT button on the toolbar would help. (Are you watching Douglas?)

Hello Glenn,

For both Digipan and Multipsk I have my VOX Level set at "8" (straight up) and Dwell set at 0.8. My call and BKTU macros use the <TX> and <RX> commands in the appropriate places to control the CQ100.

BTW Thanks for the digital QSO's we have had on CQ100.

73,

Ted

Thanks Ted,
Seem to have finally sorted it out. I have had to install a standalone version of MixW setup for CQ100 to stop the conflicts between CQ100 and normal HF. Only item that I am going to add is an external USB Soundcard as the unit on the laptop is a bit basic. Looked at Turtle Beach products and the standalone unit by soundblaster.... descisions descisions
It is always a pleasure to "talk" to a Gentleman on BPSK .... Thank you!!
