Subject: Error: Invalid Login Please try again.

I received the following e-mail:
The license image you provided for N5FNH has been received and approved.

Your callsign is now validated for QsoNet and the qsonet.com discussion forum.

Welcome to the QsoNet community.

I cannot log in. I used the same password I used to log on to the forums.

I tried adding cq100.exe to my XP Pro Firewall Exceptions list.

I SEARCHED the forums looking for a similar issue...

What else can I try?

Look carefully at your first message...
Your callsign is N5FNH but you are trying to login in as N5FHN.

It does not matter what password you enter. If the callsign is wrong no password will work. I hear about these "password" problems every day.

The only way to fix this is to reinstall the program and carefully enter you callsign during the installation process.

If you callsign has a zero in it, you can never log in with a letter OH or a crossed zero for the zero.

If you callsign has a one in it, you can never log in as a lower case L or an exclamation mark for the one.

I am glad you got it fixed.

73, Doug

lol! That's great, and answers the question why reinstalling fixed the problem. Apparently my name is Tnoy and not Tony, or at least they look the same to me!

Thanks, mystery solved.
