I noticed on the codex all priorities are set at 3, what if any would be the problem here, perhaps to set to a higher priority...any advise

I have 10 codecs listed on my Win98SE 'puter, which is running CQ100 just fine. Their priorities range in sequence from 1 to 10 in the order in which they appear in the listing on the screen.

1) Lernout & Hauspie CODECs
2) Microsoft IMA ADPCM CODEC
3) Microsoft ADPCM CODEC
4) Microsoft GSM 6.10 Audio CODEC
5) Microsoft CCITT G.711 A-Law and u-Law CODEC
6) DSP Group TrueSpeech [TM} Software CODEC
7) Microsoft G.723.1 CODEC
8) Indeo Audio Software
9) Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec (advanced)
10) Microsoft PCM Converter

QsoNet uses only GSM 6.10
This codec has been part of Windows since 95.

Windows 98 does not like to share the sound card with other programs. If you are getting no audio from CQ100, be sure other programs are completely closed. One program may be continually connected to the sound card.
