To Install RTTY on CQ 100 with Windows XP Desktop: 1. Click on white question mark on upper left corner of the CQ 100. This will open the Transciever Options window. 2. Click, "Open Mixer" on Audio Input not Audio Output. 3. Click, Options in upper left corner next to help and select Properties. This opens the Properties window. 4. There select Recording not Playback. 5. In the options below select, "Stereo Mix" if you do not see stereo mix, look for wave mix, audio mix or playback mix and select one of those. 6. Also, select microphone, then click OK. 7. On the recording control window always select microphone if you are going to talk and stereo mix or whatever if you are going to run digital modes. You must switch back and forth manually to make the change. 8. To adjust the signal strength on the cq 100. Go back to Step 1 and this time open mixer on the Audio Output. This opens the Volume Control window. 9. There adjust the wave slider to s9, while the cq 100 is transmitting in digital mode. 10. For MMTTY, Follow Fast Start Up Instructions for AFSK Transmit and Recieve. No other adjustments are needed. For more help contact Issi kc5ptx@msn.com Good Luck es 73
