I was there. Thanks for taking the initiative to get this started! I'm looking forward to checking in again next time. I'm sure it will get even better with age!

Subject: Is this 12:30 Zulu Tuesdays?

Hi -

I want to post this net on my Group Calendar-

So, KC9HRO, Does 7:30 Monday nights your local time translate to 12:30 Zulu Tuesdays?

Thanks,

N2QOJ

Zulu time is universal. If it is 12:30 zulu, it is that time where ever in the world you are. You just need to convert it to your local time. Hope this helps..

Thanks, Steve.

Once I knew what KC9HRO's local time was, I made the translation to Zulu time for my GROUP users.

Shouldn't the time be 0030 Z on Tuesday?

If the sun rises in the east, and you colonial chaps are to the west of us, then you are behind us in time (no jokes please :D )

Give or take an hour - I think that you are 5 hours behind Zulu/UTC or to be completely correct - Greenwich Mean Time.

So 0030 Z minus 5 hours = 1930 Indiana time and it's Tuesday on Zulu time by then - don't suppose you could start a bit earlier for the benefit of the Europeans.

I agree with N0DWX :D
