Thank you for a brilliant system and i can not fault it in any way.
I would like to make a sugestion when a amateur locks up the calling freq
that another calling channel say at 14.210 can be used so that we can still
have the pleasure of using this system as it was ment to

Yours Len g7mms

I know where you are coming from om, but I think to myself,Well this is supposed to be a HF simulator, and well, the real HF doesn't use calling frequencies.I can just about tolerate one, but two, i'm not sure where it all ends!! 73's Des

I agree with Des... One calling frequency is enough.
What i would suggest is a 30 second timeout on 14.200.
At least with that you won't get someone locking up the frequency
as stations are already doing.

Hi Len g7mms
you’re getting the same response I got when I posed the same
Question Jan 26th…. Like you I like the calling freq because
I can be in the shack with cq100 on QRT just listening and
doing other things like building / soldering or something,
I could even be on the 1000 MP on “29.600 the u.k fm calling freq”..
when all of a sudden some one calls me on CQ100 Grate no problem…
The new version 1.2
Good idea with the TX timer’ but have you noticed Len
the 'no limit' on the timer setting’ is this setting for the Vox users :-}
I’m just glad its default is 5 minutes’ well it was on my download.
The problem with the Vox is people sit back and nod off
Because of spinning the vfo looking for people' snore snore :-}
Cheers Len
