Subject: Calling Frequency

Can I just say what a great program cq100 is. It took me only days as a new member
To decide to send my 32 dollars off to you.
Can I just say one thing?
Due to calling Frequency being blocked from time to time by VOX operators I assume.
And people talking,
Is it possible to have a calling Frequency on another
Band say 7.200 as an alternative. The Last thing I want it to be branded as policeman
Telling people to move of 14.200.
Thanks for a grate program
Cheers

I suggest if 14.200 becomes blocked for some reason, just use 14.201 temporarily until 200 is clear again.

Subject: 14.200 was blocked for 2½ hours

Hello
Thanks very much you for your prompt reply
Yes we did’ every one was going to the nearest free Frequency up 1 up 2 to talk about this problem’ 14.200 was blocked for 2½ hours, and this station was on vox.
Out of 10.100 members
“Yes I know not all were on at the same time”
If just 200 were on at that time ...“waiting for friends to call” it was very busy around 14.200. all I was suggesting is one more calling channel’
What do the other members think?
cheers

Why not put a timeout of say 30 seconds on 14.200
That will at at least stop all the lockups.
Can't be to difficult to do surely.
