Hello all.
Well what a spendid program this is ,setup and fully operational within the hour with quality audio to match and the signal graphs a sweet treat what else could you ask for ???????? hmmmm hows about a nice front end break out box patched to the usb/lpt port.

The reason behind the suggestion is i owned a pcr1000 and did'nt like the "not feeling like a proper radio" effect add to this the fact you could then multitask whilst wiggin would put the icing on the cake.

Is this possible ,anyone capable and interested in the challenge ?.

Few pointers

Rotary encoder for tuning.
Glcd for display.
Mcu for data/system control.

M3RFR

jta if this topic's already running my aplogies i'am busy playing.

If you NEED the feel for a 'real radio' then why not try what I did... very simple ! find an old fist mic case and fit a 'PC' mic insert and use PTT button to make and break circuit. It works very well in VOX mode on CQ100.
I know you meant you want all the fancy bits of a modern radio but what use would they be on CQ100 ??

Have fun
