Subject: CW Reader

Hey Doug, Just a sugestion if you can how about adding a cw reader to the cq-100? and yes I can read cw but very broken, never got past 10wpm but was able to pass my general exam, then they changed it to 5wpm for all the license class so I took advantage of this and made it to extra class, just adding this for the folks that want to add their comments.
Thanks
Jim/W4JLT

Why would a CW reader be added to the software when you can download a CW reader that works fine with the software? How about DTMF options? A test Freq? Where you audio is played back?

Hamscope has a good CW receive and tx feature. It is free and works well. MixW requires a fee after the trial period. But as pointed out, there is no need for this feature on the CQ100 when other resources are available. Also reduces the programming size for Doug. The nice thing about Hamscope and MixW is the typing buffer advantages you can use.
