Subject: signal quality (packet loss) indicator

I would find a packet loss or "signal quality" indicator to be very useful. I am receiving choppy and broken audio when the various "channels" or "bands" become busy. I suspect it is caused by packet loss.

The problem of voice breakup is not at all related to how "busy" a band is. It does not matter how busy the band is.

There is no such thing as packet loss on a TCP connection because all missing packets and bad packets are resent. There can be extreme packet delay if someone is connected over a noisy, slow or overloaded line.
