Finally an application that runs CQ100 with audio in Ubuntu Linux. It is called Crossover and is found in the Ubuntu Software Center that is part of Ubuntu 10.10. I am running a older Pentium 4 computer and it appears to run perfectly. It is late and there are no other stations on currently, so will try again tomorrow and see if it functions correctly. Video is perfect and I do hear the "static" audio. When keyed it I can see the xmit line on the scale.

Currently, this is a free trial version, so do not know how long it will be good for, but it looks good at this time.

p.s. As a post note, the trial is for 30 days. The cost of the "standard" version is $40. I talked to several on the Internet today using CQ100 and it worked well. This solves the Linux problem as far as I am concerned.

I would appreciate any feedback from anyone else that tries it.

Subject: Ubuntu Audio Problems

I use Ubuntu 11.04. In the Software Center search
"Ubuntu Restricted Extras", install. It fixed my
audio problems. Hope it helps. I wasn't aware of
the Crossover software, nice to know it's there.
