Subject: QsoTV Problem

Hi All.
I have just started having trouble
with QsoTV.
When I click on the tv icon I get the following message.

Socket error initializing QsoTV:1128.

I would appreciate any help on this problem.
Regards :?:

I never heard of this problem before. It is a "address in use" error.

The address 127.0.0.1:24990 (or 91) is not available for UDP Interprocess communication on this computer.

Only QsoTV uses this address, so perhaps your system did not release the address last time you closed QsoTv. A simple reboot should solve this. Closing BOTH CQ100 and QsoTV might solve it too.

If the problem persists, it might be related to some "security" software running on your system. These security packages mess with your networking so they can cause many strange problems.

--- QsoTV port numbers ----

UDP 127.0.0.1:24990
UDP 127.0.0.1:24991
TCP qsonet.com:80

Many thanks for your reply Doug.

The problem has been resolved.
I re-installed the QsoTV,then restarted
the computer.
