Hi Doug,

Would it be ok for you using QsoNet for Kid's Day purposes (non-HF-linked frequencies only)?

Would it generally be ok letting work non-licenced people on QsoNet when they are supervised directly and permanently by a licenced ham radio operator (non-HF-linked frequencies only)?

I know the manual says licenced operators only but...

Hi Alfred.

This is a nice idea.

In North America, anyone may speak on the microphone providing a licensed ham is at the controls. I recently heard that in Britain, only a licensed ham may talk on the microphone.

Qsonet will follow the North American rule where anyone may talk, but the licensed ham must be there with them.

Good luck with Kid's day!!!
