Subject: 7055 CW part of the US band

Doug, on CQ100 7.055 is designated the CW part of the band but in UK and Europe it is in the SSB part?

Phil.

From your FAQ Doug

"Do not use voice on the CW portions of the bands"

So if I was to use 7.055 on CQ100 which in the normal RF sense in the UK would be the RNARS activity frequency on forty metres. I could talk to RNARS members on there in the UK but anybody from the US would think we were chatting in the CW portion of the band, going on the readout on the CQ100 transceiver.

Is there a calling frequency on 80m, 40m, 21m 28 and 29m on CQ100?

Everybody I have heard so far is calling CQ on 14.200.

Phil.

"The CW Portiion of the Bands" means the frequencies tagged as "CW Band" on the transceiver. Sorry I should have made this clear.

It makes no difference what country you live in or what class of license you have. Everyone has the same band plan and same privileges on QsoNet.

We could modify the band plan on a future version if people wish.
