Subject: HEIL STUDIO MIC

Has anyone ever used the Heil studio type setup etc..how does it work on CQ100

Subject: Mics on CQ100

In general, the easiest mics to use on CQ100 are USB types. They have their own internal sound card device.

I have tinkered with several different ones and found the Logitech USB mic to be about the best - it costs about $25.00. You can spend a couple of hundred dollars if you wish, for something fancier looking - but I doubt if you are going to really improve on the audio.

I use the CAD U37 USB condenser mic.

But this mic did not seem to have enough volume when I changed to Windows 7.

The other mic I use is the Samson C01U USB condenser mic.

I found this mic cheap in a pawn shop.

Tnx fellows, I use a gigaware headset which works very good.
I was just interested to learn if any used the HEIL, I have talked to a number of stations 3..using them..seems quiet expensive setup...
