Subject: Price Change Effective August 15th, 2011

Please be advised we will be changing the annual subscription price to $39 US dollars starting August 15th, 2011. All internet payments are automatically converted to US dollars.

The Canadian price by postal cheque will also be $39 CAN.
The American price by postal check will also be $39 USD.

We do not accept payments in any other currency.

This makes QSO Net one of the greatest bargains in ham radio. Besides, there is no QSB, QRM, QRN, or problems with antenna rules. QSO-TV just adds spice to the pie.

I was wondering the same thing. Will we be getting any extra features or programme development for the extra money?

If the rise is just to try and increase revenue because of falling numbers I think it might just backfire.

Regards.

Or perhaps it's just rising costs.

Sorry I should have explained the reason: When you consider exchange rates and the weakness of the American dollar, this is actually a price decrease. That is the one and only reason.

If I could see a developement in the programm (no changes in the last 3 years or more but lots of proposition in the forum)

If I could see that the number of active members is rising instead of going steadily down...

If I would see some willingness to bring the programme forward - may be a try to do some promotion for this QSO 100

I got really th impression that Doug has lost all intrest in cq100.

If a ship is going down it is no good idea to put prices up.

In my opinion, it is no good notice that QsoNet raises the price of an annual charge.

It may be necessary for them to maintain this system, but they should have made some effort to increase new members first with this program kept UP TO DATE.

There are lots of friendly hints given by their members in this BBS.

Now, members are decreasing in number steadily.
We are losing opportunities to broaden our friendship through this programme.

For whom does QsoNet exist ? Only for its members?
How do we find new friends with the door closing?

I made the Japanese manual to promote Japanese amateurs.
I did my best to wide open the door to un-seen friends.

Now, I won't renew my personal membership.
I go on strike indefinitely :-)

I hope the door of QsoNet will be more wide open, not stay closed.

Thank You.

Doug,

I hope you will delete the QsoNet Manual in Japanese which I wrote and sent you.

I wrote in it that QsoNet costs 32 US dollers annually.

Now it's incorrect.

We must not mislead the newcoming members.

I don't re-write it any more.

I would like you to delete that Japanese manual from your TopPage.

It is the best for you to keep your policy.

Hi Teo,

Sorry to lose you.
The Japanese manual shows the correct price.
All manuals show the correct price.
