When CQ100 went down at 2215Z here on Saturday (right in the middle of my qso with K4OLA) I feared the worst. Perhaps this excellent venture into 21st Century communication, albeit in my case, using 19th Century code (Morse) had succumbed to user lethargy. And so when having one last check to see if by some chance it was back, great was my relief!
As it is such a fine medium especially for cw and also an almost ideal means of keeping skeds with friends in distant parts without the usual hf band problems these days, it can hardly be bettered.
My sincere thanks to the folk who keep it going.
