Subject: QSO TV causes excessive CPU use
I am having problem with QSO TV:
When I receive pictures Task Manager indicates a process realplay.exe
starts using about 95% of CPU, and continues at this level indefintely!
If I close the process, the next time a picture is received, the process
realplay.exe again takes over the CPU. If QSO TV is running with no pictures being sent, no problem is noticed.
I updated real player, this did not help. To avoid these problems
I must close QSO TV and not receive pictures.
CPU operates normally without QSO TV.
Any suggestions to stop this problem?
Interesting problem. It appears Realplayer has grabbed your association for JPG pictures and probably dozens of other things. Use Windows (open With) to return the association to normal. If RealPlayer continues to make unauthorized changes to your system, uninstall it.
